Our students have successfully designed and established three thriving freshwater ecosystems from the ground up, including 100-gallon, 50-gallon, and 30-gallon aquarium environments. Students have been responsible for building each system by selecting proper substrate, aquascaping with appropriate aquatic plants, and carefully creating balanced habitats for aquatic life.
In addition to constructing the environments, students actively maintain tank equipment, conduct EPA-style water quality testing, and ensure the health and care of each fish community through proper feeding and monitoring. Beyond hands-on aquarium management, our members have taken pride in sharing their knowledge with fellow students by educating them on responsible aquarium setup, fish care, and environmental stewardship.
The Club also promotes awareness and advocacy for the protection and health of our local and state freshwater ecosystems, encouraging our school community to better understand and care for aquatic wildlife and habitats.

In a lively twist on learning, our Copperas Cove High School World History students used the school hallway to learn about the Renaissance Era!
Students circulated through exhibits showcasing the Renaissance, from Florence's artistic masterpieces to groundbreaking inventions. Debating humanism, analyzing da Vinci’s genius, and connecting past innovations to today’s world, this hands-on activity sparks curiosity, fosters discussion, and brings the “rebirth” of knowledge to life proving history isn’t just in books, it’s an interactive adventure!
